Thanks to a combination of modern technology and the availability of focused clinical services, the vast majority of healthcare routines can be delivered in the home. Whilst transfer to a frail care unit remains an option, it is considered a last resort and undertaken once a resident requires continuous medical supervision or has become disorientated.
